I provide comprehensive and continuous academic and extracurricular development planning services for students in grades 6–8, including:
✅ Academic Planning & Standardized Test Preparation
- Assist students with thoughtful course selection each semester and develop a reasonable schedule for standardized tests (such as SSAT, ISEE, MAP, etc.) based on their course load.
- While respecting and nurturing students' independent learning abilities, I offer tailored recommendations on whether tutoring is needed for specific subjects to ensure steady academic progress.
- Guide students to use summer breaks to preview challenging courses for the upcoming semester through self-study or tutoring.
✅ Extracurricular Activities & Personalized Development
- Help students selectively participate in extracurricular activities based on their interests and strengths, and adjust directions flexibly according to their performance and feedback.
- Encourage and guide students to explore different fields of activities, laying the groundwork for establishing long-term, in-depth, and impactful pursuits in high school.
- Guide students to make the most effective use of both in-school and external resources, and support capable and available students to participate in more advanced projects and competitions.
✅ Summer Planning
- Assist students in choosing high-quality, targeted summer camps and programs to enhance their academic or extracurricular background and broaden their horizons.
✅ Extensive Support
I have extensive experience and am particularly skilled at guiding the following types of students:
- Students who are eager to contribute to their communities;
- Students who are motivated to challenge themselves through accelerated learning or competitions;
- Students aiming to apply to top private high schools in the U.S.;
- Seventh-grade students planning to apply for private high school scholarships. These scholarships are highly competitive with very low acceptance rates, but the experience significantly strengthens their applications for top private high schools in 8th grade.
This program is fully customized based on the student’s needs. I do not set a fixed frequency for communication with students; it is entirely arranged based on each student's individual needs. Some students prefer a fixed weekly call, while others schedule meetings as needed. When academic progress and extracurricular activities are going smoothly, we may go a month without contact. However, during critical decision-making periods—such as course selection or choosing between activities—more frequent, even daily, communication may be necessary.
$3,000 per academic year (Grade 6-8).
