1. Essay-Focused Streamlined Service
- Conduct in-depth brainstorming sessions with the student to thoroughly review all essay prompts from the schools they’re applying to, aiming to maximize content integration and efficient reuse across applications.
- Provide multiple rounds of revisions for essays to 10 schools, continuing until essay teacher, student and I are all fully satisfied.
- Review the student’s college application forms to ensure alignment with the overall application theme and consistency across all materials.
- Assist in selecting impactful supplementary materials to enhance the application’s overall competitiveness.
- Offer continuous Q&A support throughout the application process (primarily via WeChat, with phone calls as needed), providing comprehensive guidance for both students and parents.
- Provide specific action plans for handling deferral or waitlist notifications from universities.
- Essay teachers are highly experienced and responsible. They excel at uncovering unique highlights from students’ daily lives and activities, and provide clear, specific guidance for revisions so students always know what to do next without feeling lost. Most of our essay teachers have graduated from or are currently studying at Ivy League universities, MIT, or Stanford.
2. Application Material Review Service
Conduct a comprehensive review and evaluation of all materials submitted through the following application systems:
- Common Application (Common App)
- Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT)
- Georgetown University
- University of California system
- Oxford and Cambridge
Covered materials include: personal statement, activities list, awards, supplemental essays, etc.
Detailed feedback will be provided for each item, highlighting areas for improvement.
After receiving feedback, students may schedule a Zoom session for Q&A and personalized guidance.
3. Deferral and Waitlist Strategy Support
When a student receives a Deferral or is placed on a Waitlist, I will:
- Analyze weaknesses and areas for improvement in the current application.
- Provide targeted suggestions for supplemental materials (e.g., update letters, additional recommendation letters, etc.).
- Guide the student in building appropriate and strategic communication with admissions officers, increasing the chances of being admitted from the waitlist.
